Mason is the top-ranking Ohio city.  Warren County is “Ohio’s Largest Playground” and Mason is the anchor. Come to Mason and stay for the fun! Regional attractions include the Golf Center at Kings Island, Great Wolf Lodge and Conference Center, Kings Island amusement park, and the annual Western & Southern Open. Local attractions include the Mason Community Center and Mason Historical Society’s Alverta Green Museum. Residents and visitors look forward to the annual Mason Heritage Festival, Christmas in Mason, and a wide variety of classes and events for all ages at Mason Community Center.

Recreation

Residents of the City of Mason have many recreational opportunities available at their doorstep. Three public golf courses, a water park, and Kings Island amusement park all lay within city boundaries. The city is also home to the annual Western & Southern Open tennis tournament for men and women. Seven city parks cover 301 acres and include fishing lakes, walking trails, ball fields, tennis courts, picnic shelters, and playgrounds. A continually expanding network of bike paths connects neighborhoods to schools, parks, and downtown.

Mason Community Center

The Mason Community Center is one of the largest public recreation facilities in the state! It includes six basketball courts, 1,200-seat auditorium and a 25-meter competition pool. It also features a leisure pool with a three-story, twisting water slide; a jungle-themed indoor playroom for children; arts and crafts studios; and a game room.  The 1/8-mile track overlooks the fitness room, which is filled with rows of treadmills, stair steppers and other cardiovascular equipment.   There’s also a senior center with a lounge and billiard room, and a child-care area.
